John Brillman Has Deep Roots In Antique Tractor And Automotive Restoration.
John Brillman grew up in his family’s farm equipment sales and repair business. As a teen, he used his family’s collection of tractor and automotive manuals and parts catalogs to guide his restoration work. Apprenticing in tool and die making, John earned his journeyman toolmaker papers and became a manufacturing plant manager. In his spare time, John restored tractors and automobiles. Coming across the need for antique spark plugs, he was surprised at how hard to find they were. When he finally found what he needed, he had to buy a case in order to get the few his restoration required. Selling the rest at a farm show, John saw the demand for these parts and decided to put his knowledge to work making hard-to-find parts.
From Hobby To Worldwide Business, The Brillman Company Supplies Hard-To-Find Electrical Solutions.
After years of his hobby taking up more and more time as demand grew and word got out about what he was supplying, John and his wife Bernice Brillman took the business full time. John operated a Pennsylvania manufacturing plant that housed his collection of antique machines dedicated to making the wiring and other electrical parts from the original methods. Bernice ran the office, talking with customers, taking orders, and handling worldwide shipping. From the start, John and Bernice provided the expert personal service The Brillman Company is known for today.
